Zaytouna (same owners, same decor, same menu, around the corner at 45 frith street) had sweet staff and bleached blonde arab lesbians smoking hookah and kissing in the corner, but a decidedly less tender and complex lamb tagine. Touaregue’s had caramelized onions, raisins, dates, and an enchanting cinnamon perfume that haunted me the whole next day.
